Dr. Kavanagh Kevin T. - Otolaryngology / Otorinolaringoiatria

Dr. Kavanagh received his M.D. degree from the University of New York at Buffalo, in New York in 1978. He afterwards served his Internship in General Surgery at the Gundersen Clinic, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He performed his Residency at the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery of the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Kavanagh has practiced Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY since 1992. His teaching activities include: several positions of importance at the Department of Otolaryngology of the University of Tennessee in Memphis from 1983 to 1992; Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, from 1993 to present.

Dr. Kavanagh is a fellow of many professional organizations including the following:
Triologic Society; American College of Surgeons; American Academy of Otolaryngology.
He is a member of the American Medical Association. In addition, he serves as Software Review and Computer Applications Editor for "The Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology". He served as President of the American Cancer Society, Pulaski County Chapter from 1995 until 1997.
