Dr. Waters Bedford W. - Urology / Urologia e Andrologia

Dr. Waters graduated from the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He afterwards performed a two-year general surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego and a four-year residency at Harvard Program in Urology (Longwood Area), Boston, Massachusetts. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Waters was on staff at University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center for one year. He currently holds the position of Professor and Associate Director in the Department of Urology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He also serves as Chief of Urology at Hines Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Hines, Illinois. He is a Co-Principal Investigator (Loyola) with the Urological Cancer Outreach Program. He is President of the Illinois State Urological Society, Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Society of University Urologists and on the Executive Committee of the Chicago Urological Society.

Dr. Waters is a member of many scientific societies, such as: American Urological Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and National Medical Association. He has more than 100 scientific publications. He is presently a reviewer for Journal of Urology, Cancer, Journal of Surgical Oncology, and Urology. His main areas of clinical interest include the prostate cancer, the testis cancer, the bladder cancer, the kidney cancer, etc. He is included in The Best Doctors in America and The Best Doctors in Chicago.
