| Dr. O'Connell is a certified specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery and especially in cosmetic surgery. He was the first plastic surgeon in Connecticut to utilize the pulsed Erbium laser in his practice for facial rejuvenation. In addition, he is an expert in breast surgery including breast augmentation, breast reduction and breast reconstruction due to his spending part of his training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. O'Connell is the originator of the "Baby Boomer" facelift.
