Dr. Beyer Craig F. - Ophthalmology / Oftalmologia

Dr Beyer graduated from the University of Health Sciences, Kansas City, Missouri in 1984. Afterwards, he served his internship at the University Medical Center Plantation, Florida from 1984 until 1985. He then performed his Ophthalmology Residency at the St. Louis University Medical Center Bethesda Eye Institute St. Louis, Missouri from 1985 until 1988. From 1988 until 1990 he underwent extensive additional training performing his Cornea Fellowship at LSU Eye Center Department of Ophthalmology Lions Eye Research Laboratories New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Beyer is an internationally recognized, board certified ophthalmologist with extensive specialty training in laser refractive surgery. From 1990 until 1992 he served as Director of Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the O'Donnell Eye Institute, St. Louis, MO. From 1995 until 1998 he taught Ophthalmology as Associate Clinical Professor at the University of South Florida. He currently serves as President at the Beyer Laser Associates, LLC. Dr. Bayer teaches Ophthalmology as Clinical Instructor at the University of CO Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Beyer is a member of many professional societies including the following: American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, Eye Bank Association of America, International Society of Refractive Keratoplasty, International Corneal Laser Society, Missouri State Medical Society, Ocular Microbiology and Immunology Group, St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, Townley Paton MD Society.
