Dr. Frohman received his M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He spent the next years gaining precious specialist experience. He served his Residency in Ophthalmology at the New York University Medical Center in New York, NY. He afterwards performed a fellowship in Neuroophthalmology at the New York University-Bellevue Medical Center, in New York, NY. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. It's worth saying that he is subspecialized in Neuro-ophthalmology.

Dr. Frohman has a large research activity. His main research interests include the following issues: Inflammatory and autoimmune optic neuropathy; autoimmune neuro-ophthalmic disease; pseudotumor cerebri; neuro-ophthalmic manifestations of anti-cardioliopin antibodies; vasculitis and the eye and cost-effective neuro-ophthalmic care.
