Dr. Kameen Anthony J. - Ophthalmology / Oftalmologia

Dr Kameen graduated from the Georgetown University Medical School in 1982. After graduating, he served his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) and was Chief Resident of the Department in 1986. He performed the first government approved Excimer Laser Vision Correction procedure in the Baltimore area. Dr Kameen instructs colleagues from all around the world, currently engaged as a VISX Excimer Laser Physician Trainer, a Summit Excimer Laser Physician Trainer and a National/International Excimer Laser Preceptor and Trainer. He has reviewed and edited numerous books and articles on Laser Vision Correction.

Dr. Kameen is an expert in Laser Vision Correction. He has a large experience in Refractive Surgery procedures, more than 14.000, the vast majority being Excimer Laser Treatment (PRK and LASIK). Dr. Kameen is the Medical Director of the TLC Laser Eye Centers in Baltimore and Annapolis. Baltimore Magazine recently named him as Baltimore's "Top Doctor" in the field of Ophthalmology/Laser Vision Correction. He received similar honor from the Washingtonian magazine.

It's worth saying that Dr Kameen had Excimer Laser Vision Correction of his own nearsightedness and astigmatism six years ago and now enjoys 20/20 vision without glasses or contacts. In addition, he has performed laser correction on countless doctors and their families therefore, Dr. Kameen can personally attest to the power of Laser Vision Correction.
