Dr. Manger Charles C. - Ophthalmology / Oftalmologia

Dr. Manger received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine in 1976. Afterwards he interned for a year in internal medicine at ULC and he performed his three years residency in ophthalmology at USC's renowned Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles. Dr. Manger is an Ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction. He is certified in LASIK by the American Board of Eye Surgeons. He has performed more than 45,000 ophthalmic surgical procedures since 1980. He has lectured extensively to professional organizations, he has published numerous articles in professional journals and instructed his colleagues on the latest techniques of eye surgery.

Dr Manger has a large experience in laser vision correction surgery. Therefore he has performed this kind of procedure on other doctors, on many members of his staff and their immediate family members, his son and thousands of patients with myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. In addition, Dr. Manger has had refractive surgery to correct his own nearsightedness. In 1980, Dr. Manger founded Saddleback Eye Center, where with the latest technology and a highly trained professional staff provides his patients with a complete ophthalmic care. Patients are coming to Saddleback Eye Center from places as far away as Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Australia just to have LASIK performed by Dr. Manger.

Dr. Manger is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the California Medical Association.
