Dr. Kenneth W. Wright

Dr. Wright graduated from Boston University. He performed fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, and Children's Hospital, Washington, DC. He was a full-time faculty member at USC School of Medicine and Children's Hospital for 10 years. He afterwards served for three years as Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He returned to Los Angeles in 1997.

His main area of research interest is the treatment of children with crossed eyes. It's worth saying that he pioneered a new protocol for treating infants with this condition. He is the author of more than 60 scientific papers and several textbooks on topics of his specialty, including the well-known textbook Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

Dr. Wright is widely recognized throughout his country, both as ophthalmologist and as educator. He was chosen to be listed in The Best Doctors in America, and Who's Who in Medicine and Health Care. He is a member of many scientific societies, such as: American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, International Strabismological Association. He is a devoted husband and father of five children.
