Dr. Patel Mukund - Hand Surgery / Chirurgia della mano

Dr. Patel is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with Certificate of added qualifications in surgery of the hand. He served his fellowship in hand surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Patel serves as Attending Orthopedic Surgeon and Chief of Hand Surgery at the Maimonides Medical Center. He is Assistant Orthopedic and Hand Surgeon at the Methodist Hospital. He is currently heading the Department of Hand Surgery at the Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. His teaching activities include the following: -Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery (Orthopedics) at the Health and Science Center of the State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York. - Clinical Professor of Health Sciences at the Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Patel is a fellow of New York Academy of Medicine, American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also a member of numerous professional societies including the: Eastern, Orthopedic Association, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Association of Hand Surgery, New York Society of Surgery of the Hand, etc.
