Dr. Thomas B. Freeman

Dr. Freeman graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then served his Internship at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, NY. He afterwards performed his Residencies at the New York University Medical Center, New York, NY and the National Hospital at Queens Square, London, England. He is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

His main areas of research interest include the following: Reconstructive Surgery of the Spine, Neural transplantation for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, and stroke, General Neurosurgery. Dr. Freeman has a large editorial activity. He currently holds the position of Professor at the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida.

He has made numerous presentations on Neurological Surgery Issues. It's worth saying that his surgical skills are well recognized throughout his country. He has been named by the 1992 edition of the Present Who's Who in Science and Engineering, the 1993 edition of the Present Men of Achievement, the 1994 edition of the Present Fellow, American Society for Neural Transplantation, the 1995 edition of the Present Who's Who in the World, the 1995 edition of the Present Who's Who of the American Board of Certified Medical Specialists, the 1997 edition of the Present Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and the 2000 edition of the Present Strathmore's Who's Who.
